Create Healing Spaces Psychotherapy & Wellness
with Sehr
At Create Healing Spaces Psychotherapy and Wellness,
healing is a somatic journey of coming (back) home to yourself and your wholeness.
It is:
- A befriending of all your parts
- An inquiry into core beliefs, survival strategies, and adaptive responses
- A deeper understanding of emotions, and the development of skills to navigate them
- A cultivation of curiosity, mindfulness, and self-compassion
- A grounding in community and collective care
- An empathic witnessing of deeply human experiences like grief, trauma, and childhood loss

I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto (2009), specializing in Social Justice and Diversity with a focus on community development. Over the past 15 years, my work has centered on developing, evaluating, and implementing community-based programs that support the health and well-being of vulnerable individuals, groups, and communities. I bring this wealth of experience in community health and equity into my work at Create Healing Spaces.
Outside of work, I like to paint, potter around the garden, dream up travelling adventures and spend time with my partner and young pup.
Yoga Sciences
My yoga journey began at age 18, alongside a deep interest in Eastern philosophies. Over the years, yoga has remained a grounding force in my life—a practice of self-care, introspection, and connection. From attending retreats in Costa Rica and Thailand to working the front desk at a yoga studio in my twenties, yoga has always been a practice in connecting me back to my body and myself.
Yoga Credentials:
- 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training & 40-Hour Restorative Yoga Training – Octopus Garden Yoga Centre (2014)
- 20-Hour Prenatal Yoga Training – Esther Myers Yoga Studio (2015)
- Online Yin Yoga Teacher Training – Kassandra Reinhardt (2020)

Reiki & Energetic Healing
My introduction to Reiki was a deeply spiritual and transformative experience. Since then, I’ve followed a calling to offer this powerful modality to others. I completed my Reiki Level I & II certifications in 2012, and received my Reiki Master Level certification in 2014 with Stephanie Cookson at Transense Healing Arts Studio.
As a lifelong learner, yoga practitioner, and therapist, my path continues to evolve.
I am committed to sharing what I learn in service of your healing. This spirit of continuous growth and integration is at the heart of Create Healing Spaces Psychotherapy and Wellness.
I look forward to creating and holding space for you.
